Ryan McNamee is a Senior Associate with The Mason Group Contract Division. Prior to entering the field of contract resourcing, Ryan gained his public accounting experience from mid-sized firms across the GTA. His roles included full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, audit and taxation. After several years of working in public accounting, he wanted the opportunity to integrate his knowledge of finance and accounting with his passion for helping others. As a staffing professional he is able to help companies make more effective hiring decisions while helping to coach and mentor job seekers.

Ryan’s goal in his role is to educate his clients on the benefits of leveraging contingent and contract staff into their broader hiring strategies. He stays up to date with current hiring trends and strategies and tries to learn from companies’ prior successes to better facilitate his client’s needs.

Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo. After graduation he exercised his passion for World travel and took the opportunity to work and explore in Japan, Korea, and the Philippines. He learned to speak basic Korean and is working diligently to maintain it now that he has returned to Canada. It was during these overseas adventures that Ryan studied for, and received, his CPA designation.
