Industry Risk Analyst - Contract

Our client is looking for a motivated critical thinker that can anticipate challenges and potential risks as they arise for member firms within the investment industry. Monitoring capital policy changes, IIROC pronouncements and other communication from outside organizations this role will be depended upon to identify, analyze and respond to trends.

This is a newly created role from the consolidation of similar activities from within the organization reporting directly to the Director of Risk Assessment. This role will have great exposure to other senior level management including the Board. It is a 6 month contract term to start with the potential for long-term employment for the right individual.

The ideal candidate will have superlative written and oral communication skills and a demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems. In depth understanding of capital markets and participants will be a significant asset.
