Senior Financail Analyst

My client, a public company located in the west part of the GTA is adding a new Senior Financial Analyst position to their team. This individual will be responsible for providing financial analysis and support to the corporate treasury and financial reporting teams. You will assume responsibility for the monitoring and assessment of credit worthiness of new and existing counterparties in compliance with established credit risk policies, as well as provide financial analysis support for the quarterly MD&A and corporate budgeting process. As well, you will also become the main contact for the corporate groups in accessing and interpreting information from the company's long term planning, budgeting and financial reporting systems.

We are looking for a recently qualified professional accountant - CA, CMA or CGA, with a breadth of financial reporting and analysis experience, either having public company clients in public accounting or working in a public company. We are looking for a bright, articulate professional with an aptitude for learning new complex concepts, strong Excel skills and knowledge and exposure to financial/budgeting systems.
