Director, Financial Management Systems

Our client has recently launched a comprehensive plan for modernizing and revitalizing their organization.  This is an exciting time for them, and this could be an ideal time for you to join them as they look to grow and improve the services we provide.    They are currently looking to hire a Director, Financial Systems.

In this role as Director, Financial Systems you will work with partnership with key business teams to define the requirements for future state process improvements and initiatives, and help set their cross functional prioritization.  Key accountabilities would include:

• Direct/oversee the design, development, implementation, maintenance and support of all financial systems and integration with key business systems

• Determining system strategy, and act as the point person for all projects related to these systems

• Design, implement and operate future enhancements to financial systems by working with internal and external teams

Interested applicants should have a strong Finance background coupled with excellent system and leadership skills.  Also, strong SOX experience and exposure to a unionized environment is an asset.  Experience with project work and new system implementations is key as well.
