Senior Accountant, Private Equity

Are you looking to join a growing, high-energy, public company in the private equity space?  Do you enjoy financial services, specifically investments, as well as real estate?  As a leading source of capital across North America, this company is heavily involved in real estate and asset management.  The role is a hybrid between accounting, operations, and ad hoc projects.  Created through strong growth, this opportunity also involves liaising with the investments team, as well as assisting the Controller and CFO with the accounting/financial reporting function.

Qualifications include a CA designation from a Big Four accounting firm within financial services, ideally Private Equity.  Real Estate client and/or industry experience may also be considered.  As a self-starter, the candidate of choice is a strong performer, very detail oriented, with outstanding communication skills.  Advanced Excel and knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and ASPE are all essential.  The chosen professional will have excellent time management, multi-tasking, and have a strong ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced (and often high stress and demanding!) growing environment.
