Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

Do you possess strong financial planning, analysis, and business partnering skills? Do you have experience in a business support function in the manufacturing/distribution industry? If so, this could be your ideal role.

Our client is located in the GTA. Reporting to the Corporate Controller the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis will play a lead role in supporting and providing timely financial information to the Sr. Management team. This role will have responsibility for planning & analysis, budgeting, management reporting, and supporting the Sales and Supply Chain organizations. Further, the role will also be involved in: ad-hoc projects, financial strategy, and costing/pricing decisions.

The ideal candidate is a designated accountant or MBA and will have a demonstrated track record of increasing responsibilities. Previous experience in a business unit support environment is very beneficial (Sales and Operations functions - ideally in the Manufacturing and/or Distribution industries). Effective communication and people management skills are very important. The ability to work well with others, a keen eye for detail, a solid work ethic, and a proactive approach to managing the business - are all key success factors for this role.
