Senior Accountant

Are you a strong accountant with a knack for detail? Do you have a strong desire to learn and continually develop in your accounting career? Our GTA based, growing public client in the software sector is currently recruiting a senior accountant.  The position has an active role in the completion of the monthly accounting cycle and financial reporting function. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, capital asset accounting and reporting as well as intercompany reporting and tax.  The position will offer growth and a great deal of visibility to various members of the senior management team. This position will appeal to those who enjoy working with numbers and have a high attention to detail.

Ideal candidates have or are in final stages of a CGA or CMA and have 5+ years of experience in a similar role. You have exceptional accounting experience, outstanding spreadsheet knowledge and have experience with multi-national companies. You are able to handle multi-priorities that may change and able to work long hours when required.  You work well as part of a team, in addition, to being able to work independently with the proper direction.  You communicate effectively and have initiative to see what needs to be done, and just make it happen.
