Revenue Analyst

Our client is a leading software company located in the west end.  As a result of growth, they are looking for a Revenue Analyst.  This position is responsible for reviewing contract terms and conditions, researching accounting guidance and concluding on the appropriate accounting treatment for significant arrangements.  The role will also assist in the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual revenue reporting and analysis.  Key elements include interactions with other areas of the business and require the ability to foster proactive working relationships with cross-functional organizations within and outside the finance department.

 Candidates ideally have a university degree in business or finance coupled with an accounting designation.  A strong technical accounting background with experience in the technology sector and specifically SOP 97-2 and accounting for multiple element arrangements is required.  Qualifications also include the ability to research accounting guidance and conclude on appropriate accounting treatment.  Attention to detail, superior communication and presentation skills are key attributes of a successful candidate.
