Payroll Operations Analyst - Contract

Our large GTA client is seeking a Payroll Specialist for a 1 year contract. The role requires extensive Canadian wide payroll experience including global and expatriate payroll familiarity.  The Payroll Specialist will also be responsible for providing analysis, supporting the payroll team, supervising various staff and working on the day-to-day functions of full cycle payroll.

The ideal candidate for this Payroll Specialist role has:

- CPM (Certified Payroll Manager) credentials

- Minimum 5 years full cycle payroll experience in a Canadian wide and multi-provincial setting

- Strong analytical skills in dealing with tax issues, payroll regulations and policies and year-end procedures

- Supervisory/management experience

- Expatriate payroll experience (Mandatory)

- Peoplesoft payroll system experience (Mandatory)
