Compliance Director

Do you have a strong project management background specifically in compliance?  Our client in the Toronto area is actively seeking a Compliance leader to oversee this area in this growing company.  Key responsibilities include overseeing the compliance team, leading initiatives in the compliance area and developing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with by-laws, rules and policies of applicable securities legislations and other relevant bodies.  The role will also involve monitoring changes to the regulatory environment and making appropriate recommendations to to adopt relevant changes.

Candidates will have 5+ years experience in the financial services industry ideally in a compliance leadership capacity.  Project management experience and formal education in project management is considered an asset.  Excellent presentation and communication skills are required and the ability to work in a demanding, high performing organization is critical to success in this role.
