Financial Analyst - Reporting

Our client in the north end of the city is looking to add a Financial Analyst, Reporting to their team. The Financial Analyst, Reporting will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of the financial information to be included in the monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements. A large part of this role will focus on variance analysis on a monthly basis for financial statement line items. This will require communication with various departments.

Other responsibilities will include: ensuring internal controls are adhered to, supporting the consolidation process, research to provide answers to local management inquiries, and other ad-hoc analysis.

The ideal candidate is possesses an accounting designation and will have 3-5 years' work experience.  The candidate must possess excellent analytical skills and must have previous experience in reporting and variance analysis. Experience with SAP, US GAAP, SOX, is an asset. Also, the ability to speak French is an asset, but is not required.
